I’ve always believed that I was born to create. Whether it’s the rhythm of a song, the flow of a dance, or the tactile joy of fabric and paint, I am simply happiest when I am creating.

A Legacy of Creativity

My journey started at home, fueled by a mother who believed that creativity should have no limits. She encouraged us to dive into every art, craft, and musical pursuit imaginable, ensuring that supplies and projects were always within reach. She taught me the art of sewing, while my grandmother passed down the skill of crochet. Those lessons shaped not just my hands, but my heart.

When I became a mother, I knew I wanted that same spark for my own children. Our home became a whirlwind of epic handmade birthday parties that turned dreams into reality, custom holiday decorations crafted around the kitchen table, and one simple philosophy I told my children again and again: anything can be made with a little bit of paper and a lot of imagination!​

Today, I am the proud mother of six amazing adults who have used their own creative foundations to build beautiful lives and careers. I'm also a lucky mother-in-law to four incredible women and "Mimi" to nine of the funniest, cutest, and most creative grandchildren in the world.

Experience & Education

After living in Utah for over 30 years, I moved to Star three years ago, bringing a lifetime of experience in both art and education with me. I hold an AAS in Digital Media, where I honed my skills in web design, graphic design, and video editing. I've also spent over 12 years working in public schools across Utah and the Treasure Valley as a paraprofessional, substitute teacher, and elementary computer teacher.

I started Bumble Doodle Art because I believe that everyone is creative in their own unique way. Your don't have to be the "greatest artist in the world" to reap the benefits of creating. Whether you are painting, sewing, drawing, or sculpting, the act of making something changes you for the better. ​

At Bumble Doodle Art, we celebrate the joy of trying. I want every child who walks through my door (or orders a kit) to know that they are a creator, and that it is okay to try something new just for the pure fun of it.
