The Great American Art "Roadtrip"

Service Description

For five morning in July, kids ages 5-10 will learn about how art is influenced by the different regions of our country and discover design elements along the way. We'll be "traveling" to the Southwest (the Land of Shapes) on Monday, the Pacific Northwest (the Land of Lines) on Tuesday, The Northeast (the Land of Space) on Wednesday, the South (the Land of Texture) on Thursday, and the Midwest (the Land of Composition) on Friday. Each day pairs a new region with a design element, so each child will see a different part of America and pick up a different tool for making art. By the end of the week, they'll have used the Southwest to examine Shape, the Pacific Northwest to discover lines, the Northeast to play with Space, the South to explore Texture, and the Midwest to reveal the balance of Composition. Two hours a day. All Supplies included. No suitcase will be required for this one-of-kind "roadtrip"! Come join us for 1, 3, or 5 days -- the choice is yours!
